A deluge of forgotten memories cascading,
Spectres with hearts of regret play the strings of sorrows,
Haunting symphonies engulf the obsidian void.
Clockwork spiders frantically weaves threads of despair,
Chronicles of the abyss whisper of fallen tears,
In the labyrinth of the wounded, echos spiral.
Ravens of anguish nest in my old desolate bones,
Sable feathers intertwine strands of forsaken dreams,
In the realm of darkness and sorrow your shadows dance.
Broken reflections cry in a labyrinth of shards,
Illusions of happiness shrouded, a veil of tears,
The mirage of hope, hopelessness forever lingers.
Black petal, wilted, whispers to the forsaken soil,
Roots entangle with the veins of your melancholy,
In the garden of solitude, thorns of pain blossom.
A cascade of tears cradle the fragments of dead souls,
Veil of despair shrouds the remnants of your vanished light,
In the ocean of darkness, now, the final curtain.

I crafted this poem as a reflection on the concealed emotions we all grapple with, using vivid imagery to depict life’s trials.
“A deluge of forgotten memories cascading” speaks to past regrets. The “spectres” symbolize remorse, while “clockwork spiders” highlight time’s inexorable march and our struggles to heal emotional wounds. Ravens convey the weight of sorrow, and the “broken reflections” underscore our fleeting joy and fractured identity.
The poem’s climax with the “cascade of tears” and “final curtain” alludes to an eventual release from pain.
At its core, this composition underscores life’s futility. Time moves on, often intensifying our wounds, yet there’s a subtle acknowledgment of human resilience amidst these challenges.
