In the shadowy recesses of my mind, voices clamour, each claiming my soul’s throne. Am I the goodly man I ought to be or a sinner forever alone? My essence frays, lost amid twisted reflections gaze. Nightly, the gaslights waver, yet the dark within remains, my true self perhaps ensnared, screaming amidst the endless disdain. All these faces, but which one to wear?
