Call of the void

Call of the void

Shadow swallows light,
Footsteps fade on fragile stone,
Dying feels like home.

Cold winds bite my skin,
Bones crumble beneath the weight,
Void sings me to sleep.

No dawn to return,
Only echoes linger now,
I was never here.
